From the sandy coast of Playa Las Teresitas to the wild Benijo Beach, each beach offers a unique experience. But the nature of Tenerife is not limited to its coasts; within the island there are laurel forests, spectacular canyons and picturesque mountain villages. Botanical gardens such as the one in Puerto de la Cruz are home to an extraordinary variety of exotic plants. Thanks to its variety of landscapes and climate, it is a perfect destination for nature and sport lovers, offering an unforgettable experience immersed in one of the most evocative environments in the world
THE CLIMATE
Tenerife's climate is one of its strong points, making it an ideal holiday destination all year round. The island enjoys a subtropical climate with pleasant and stable temperatures for most of the year. Average temperatures vary between 20° and 30°C during the day, with mild winters rarely dropping below 15°C in coastal areas. Summers are hot but not excessively, with highs that can reach 30° C, but with a pleasant breeze coming from the Atlantic Ocean that makes the heat more bearable. A unique feature of Tenerife's climate is its MICROCLIMATE variety. Due to the presence of the Teide volcano the island presents a variety of landscapes and microclimates. While coastal areas are warmer and drier, mountainous regions can be cooler and wetter, with the possibility of snowfall during the winter on the highest peaks. Precipitation is generally low, with the rainiest season between November and February. However, even during these months the rains tend to be short and concentrated, with the sun often shining again shortly afterwards. In summary, the climate of Tenerife is favorable for holidays at any time of the year, offering temperatures and a variety of pleasant landscapes all year round.
